What are you listening to.................RIGHT NOW!!!

I like the two earlier albums a lot ,but didn't buy them until after 'Dare'
Travelouge and Reproduction don't have the clean professional commercial production of Martin Rushent, but are special in their own way..imo

Iv e got quite a few of League rarities in my collection ,Inc The Men I don't depend on you 12" which is a poor release tbh.

The Holiday 80 double pack with 'Marianne' etc and a Japanese import 12" of the same with large pic label and the usual lyric banner sleeve are the pick of the bunch.

I met Phil and the two girls at a venue in Rotherham a few years back, heaven 17 were playing and Richard Kirk of Cabaret Voltaire was dj..quite a night.
I feel like getting on some more HL today after reading that. ...A crow and a baby..... Being Boiled...Empi.....
Which is the best version of Being Boiled?

Loved all that back then, imported versions, limited editions, shaped picture discs! I don't have much Human League vinyl in my collection - Ultravox, now you're talking and I guess most of my money went on them instead. Love the League for staying so modest and grounded over the years too.

And as you say, 40 years ago - that's ridiculous!

Do you remember all the picture discs on display in Virgin Records on Market Street? I wanted all the Bowie ones. It was just clever marketing by the record companies but us kids wanted them all!
