Mate, the joy of being a city fan since the takeover has been beyond words. The accelerated success after decades of failure, the depreciation of the rags, the desperation from Fergie and all that followed him. The success of keeping Ollie in the job for 2 1/2 years is just one element of that, we have been socking it to them since that fa cup semi, but we have been bothering them big time since 1 September 2008.

Agreed but some of the great memories I have of watching us when we were shit in League One, the backs to the wall mentality, the dark humour, taking over those little grounds, the train journeys full of pissed up blues. I wouldn't have missed that for the world and it's made our success now all the sweeter for it. CTID

This thread started 2 and a half years ago and we've helped keep him in th job for that long. I think we've been an absolute success. Let's hope they choose someone just as awful for their next boss and we can do this all over again!

Whoever they choose will have their work cut out for them. Will be a years before they challenge for the top.
