I don't mind telling you, young man, that I've been at complete ends with your statement "I guess that's why there's chocolate and vanilla".......are you saying that they signify two flavours that are so opposing that they should never go together and should be eaten separately and never enjoyed side by side in a scrumptious combination?

Surely that would be preposterous!!

And furthermore, I'd like to remind you of "choc ices and Veinetta", which are a fantastic combination of rich chocolate and vanilla ice cream and have been the preferred desert of civil society for over 100 years.

Maybe you could have said "steak and custard", as no one would consume these together, unless you're one of these fancy Americans.

Yours sincerely, Mr R Walls.
I had T bone and ambrosia just last night.

We see the same thing every few seasons. A new flash in the pan from Italy arrives and a transfer clamour for his signature ensues only for it not to work out and the player is loaned 1/2 seasons later.

I would rather we spend the money on Kane. Proven player over many seasons as opposed to the new name on the scene.

Jovetic's issues were injuries. He had all the ability, but could never stay fit and that's been consistent whenever he's been before and after City.

If he wasn't a sick note, he could have been a star.

I think what Kane has proven this season, is that being a 'proven' player means bugger all.

Nah come on! You may not like him but his record in the league is outstanding. Dusan does not cone anywhere near Kane’s numbers.

The risks with the fee involved for Kane is considerably less than paying £80m for a player who may not be suited to the premier add in that it will take time to settle in Manchester and Kane is the obvious unpopular choice.

You wouldn’t have signed Aguero

I don't dislike Kane. Not in the slightest. It is the idea of signing him for 120m+ that I am not keen on.

My point was though, His 1 goal by nearly December says that his high scoring numbers from 5 years ago, or his overall average of circa 18 goals a season, or last season's golden boot guarantee nothing.

Let's be honest, the potential transfer over summer has nailed Kane.

He is a professional football and - to him - he thinks he can be the best English striker of all time. He knows he has to win trophies and at the club he's currently at, that's not going to happen barring a miracle. City came in and wanted to sign him and that was offering the potential of him winning 10+ medals before he retires and breaking Shearer's record. He was probably thinking to himself he's got a real opportunity of winning multiple CLs, the Euros, World Cup and breaking records for fun.

Then it all collapses and he's at Spurs knowing they aren't making any effort at winning anything.

The lads head's been turned, he wants to come to us and we need a striker just like him.

I imagine he's devastated that his career is pretty much going to have nothing to show for it - and he's a far better player than that.

Don’t want to help out Levy. £40 million we should offer just to insult the master of nothing, let the media try and put a positive spin on that

Goal for the 3-0 vs AC Milan

Bit misleading score

edit: And Ibra scores. 3-1
