Gus, you are like Marmite..personally like Marmite..speak sense, and discuss players with insight..not just one line posts, but a reasoned opinion..keep going mate, a good poster. This isn’t what I said. Maybe we won’t sign one, but what I meant isn’t that Pep told the board “I only want Kane”. He had his list. And it’s probable that he told them, “among these, I would prefer Kane”. And maybe the club, confident they could seal the deal, have been strongly focused on him — though, who knows...
options and actually
If we don’t sign a striker, I certainly owe a couple of people here an apology, since they made that bet months ago when I said it would happen 100% because the club would have to be stupid not to sign one. I still think that’s the case.
Thank you. It’s good to hear this sometimes since not everything is nice all the time :) I’ll be following your posts now tooGus, you are like Marmite..personally like Marmite..speak sense, and discuss players with insight..not just one line posts, but a reasoned opinion..keep going mate, a good poster.
Same reason to not sign Lewandowski from Lech Poznan or Luis Suarez from Gronigen.Just an incredibly uninspiring option IMO.
30 professional goals in his career. Not good enough for the best team in the world (yet).
Not really. By the time Dortmund signed Lewandowski he'd scored 9 goals for Poland and 32 goals in 58 games for Poznan (Including 6 goals in 16 EUFA cup appearances). Dortmund signed him for 4.5m Euros.Same reason to not sign Lewandowski from Lech Poznan or Luis Suarez from Gronigen.
