From an ESPN article by Rob Dawson: “If nothing else, Solskjaer leaves United in a better position than when he took over and it's possible to believe both that he did a good job and that it was time to go.”

Either an idiot, deluded, or scared shitless to write something negative. It’s fine with me — as long as the popular press doesn’t see the fundamental rot and doesn’t recognize that at a minimum three other English clubs are structurally and organizationally miles/years ahead of the rags (with more improving), no problem.
what's the t-shirt? "so good we had to sack him"?

Spot on.

It's the culture at United that's the problem. Ole's departure won't change that. United's ownership cares only about making money and that attitude pervades the club from the top down. Maybe they'll be able to hire a top class manager to replace Ole (won't make any difference if they do) - on the other hand, no top manager with any aspiration towards success would countenance the United managerial role.

Sorry if this has already been done but I always thought that Sir Gary of Neville was a very popular figure for the Rag fans.
Evidently not as there were dozens of posts like this on Rag Cafe telling him to shut the fuck up, so I give you this little gem :

"He’s a complete and utter tool. Of all the things that are different post Ole, GNev’s inability to be impartial and constant voice on Sky are the biggest negatives for me. In time, Ole’s tenure as manager will be looked back on positively albeit as a period without success, I don’t think GNev’s reputation will ever be the same.

He tries to stay relevant by being a ‘voice’ for United but he’s more disconnected than anyone, he’s a multimillionaire businessman who has been out of the game too long & who showed his IQ level by genuinely thinking he could manage Valencia despite not speaking Spanish and having never had a senior gig. He hires/fires managers for fun at Salford and then preaches patience on tv. The further the club disassociate themselves from him, the better it is for everyone."

Oh dear Sir Gaz, you aint as popular as you may think.
Shame, never mind, what a pity, ah well, oops. ;)

Their upcoming fixtures

Villareal A
Chelsea A
Arsenal H
Palace H
Young Boys H
Norwich A
Brentford A
Brighton H
Newcastle A
Burnley H

December is relatively gentle to them. Carrick could get off to a flyer, and get the gig full time. We can but hope.
Maximum points and a 5 year deal await. Come on Carrick.
