Looking back I think more appreciation needs to go to Pogba for wasting years of their time. He wanted to show up Mourinho so had by far his best spell of form when he was sacked, for me the main reason Ole got the permanent job. Since Pogba went back to coasting it became clear they were going nowhere under Solskjaer.
It's a bit sad really, topping the ridiculous penalties awarded every season despite not having near to the best attacking play, probably due to Ferguson's hand on his shoulder, but couldn't take advantage. Give Mourinho, Van Gaal even Moyes that amount of time,money & help from the officials they couldn't do less.
