Erling Haaland

Would a manager even want Mbappe and Haaland in the same starting 11? Looks good on paper of course, but in today's footballing landscape, workers are just as Important as flair players.

Of course any manager would, you can never have too many great players. I’d swap Torres and Jesus right now for those two, and I bet being honest Pep would too. Probably the two best strikers in the world right now.

Got to wonder if ‘Project Rangnick’ will open up the possibility of Haaland going there to spearhead it.

Check out Alfie Haaland’s liked tweets.

He likes a lot of Jan Aage’s tweets usually. That was just another
He seems to be like an observant of football based on his twitter activity, so makes sense he would admire Rangnick, who is very respected
Wouldn’t read much into it

Alfie’s Twitter bio is: “Football management”. Seems like he would pay attention to this kind of stuff all over the world (he likes stuff from Argentina and Brazil too)
If anything, this is just more proof that they are paying attention to clubs’ projects to make their decision and this will not come down to the money. Getting Pep to sign an extension could be helpful

If any player decides to join the rags ahead of us at this moment in time then I’d immediately class them as a dodged bullet

If you want to go down that route then whoever runs Erlings account likes a lot of stuff about rashford.

maybe his dream is to play with Saint Marcus himself

After his comments about how United acted towards him after what Keane did, I don't see Haaland ever moving there.

even if he comes to pl its obvious after 2-3 years he will want to go to madrid

We seem to take the approach of accepting this might be the outlook when players first join, but using their time with us to convince them City is their home by treating them so well, giving them an excellent environment with all the resources they could possibly need to satisfy all their professional ambitions, and respecting them as people who played a vital role in the story of our Club.

If you listen to David Silva or Kun Aguero talking about City, they both would say they had no idea they’d be with us as long as they were when they joined - but they soon realised there was no better place to be.

Even Bernardo (who might still leave) said his plan was to be with us a few years, then move somewhere warmer. And he's already signed one extension, and looks more settled than ever after a difficult couple of years.

Doesn’t always work - take Sane as a recent example - but we clearly back ourselves to win players’ hearts during their time with us.

bad source. Pro Madrid journalist.
That may be true but it's always sounded like he want's a move to Madrid.

If the rumors of him signing to Dortmund for another year are true, then it seems even more likely as Madrid couldn't sign him AND Mbappe in the same window, or quite unlikely.

Based on current form and his demeanour I'd say that Bernie looks totally settled on the pitch and I'm sure he gets us as a fanbase / club... He's a keeper for me

I'd move heaven and earth to get Haaland
