This time a few days ago I’d never heard of Ralf Rangnick, now I am reading he’s one the great football thinkers, whatever the fuck that means, he’s the man who mentored Klopp and Tuchel yet his latest club got mullered 3-0 at home to Lazio last night to finish bottom of their Europa League group hmmmmmmm time to order in more popcorn.

Bielsa.

The only thing he will be remembered for is crouching in full shit on the pitch mode.

dont. Bielsa is a football legend, he has one high profile failure at the 2002 world cup and thats it, did well and overachieved with all his sides. That said, like ragnick he is more of a guy to set a foundation, and known for his innovative training and playing concepts, not for being a serial winner. In that sense, its a bit of an awkward fit for united, who want to win now (?) i think

Can’t say I know loads about him. So won’t comment on if he is a good appointment.

I have seen sky and rags saying how good he suddenly is. Which I find quite funny, because if they thought he was that good why weren’t they wanting him before they got him? I don’t go on there fan sites, but on social media when they asked who should be ole replacement, this guy didn’t get mentioned.

My god never here dog this guy but sky have all the experts lined up with not one negative thing to say about him even though he ain’t been manager of a top side or won next to nowt! Bloke on sky been talking about him for 10 mins sucking him off! Oh and when he becomes a director football he will be the best one ever! The scum don’t half pay of these people in the media!
Its fucking hilarious after all these same twats were declaring Peps tippy tappy football wouldnt work in England and that he'd be a flop before his plane even landed on these shores

the rags don't have a fan site, rag cafe is just a collection of comments from the most deluded ( barely ) human beings from every part of the globe, trying to make up legible sentences.

As if their " fans " would know a good coach when OGS was seen as the answer !

Can you image the response from Pep if anyone phoned him up and said "Hi Pep, we're looking for a Head Coach and might be prepared to consider you for the position but ....
(a) It's only for 6 months
(b) You'll be required to explain your 'football philosophy' and
(c) You'll have to explain it to Darren fucking Fletcher"

and (d) the Govan Bully will undermine your plans at will

(e) if the portugese ponce isn't in the team then all fucking hell and tantrums will be the order of every meeting with his holiness

If he really was one of the great football thinkers, he wouldn’t touch that job with a barge pole

Ditto. He seems to have had no playing career to speak of and mixedmanagerialcareer. He does seem well regarded. I have 3 questions.
If he is so good what's doing in Russia. Have nitid paid out his l Moscow contract. What does fletcher do?

Well I dont know about that but yesterday they were getting all giddy and assumed that due to the piss taking on here about Ragnorak, we must therefore be extremely worried about the guys capability and what he can do and with the prospects of untied.

Fun fact, prior to his football career he was best known for inventing the internet.

Exactly, he is so good he was not their first choice and if so good why Interim and not appoint him on a long contract

Rangnick was linked very heavily with both Newcastle and Spurs.

If true (which is doubtful) why did he not go to Spuds?
