They took 10 years of Cameron/Osborne austerity with the poorest - labour - regions hit with the biggest cuts and then voted them in again in 2019. Not investigating crimes that happened in the past frees up more time to investigate future crimes though, so that's a plus. Anyone who doesn't like this seems a lot like the sort of person I think might have to be thrown in jail for future crimes imo
