He’d have come out behind Verstappen and if they decided to allow all cars to unlap there would have been no time to race one lap.

I hope there's no post race enquiries or anything like that. Bit of a dodgy ending but what a season we've had. Even tracks that used to be a guaranteed snore fest (Spain, France, Abu Dhabi etc) were good.

I was a bit worried about Hamilton retiring if he won again today and I think he did allude to it a little in his interview. But I can't see it happening now and I think we'll have another great season next year as well.

Mercedes raced the perfect race, evidenced by the fact that he was 12 seconds ahead with four cars between them with less than 10 laps to go. The strategy was fine until they got screwed over by the officials.

That never happened. Masi broke the FIA rules to get the safety car in before the last lap to give Verstappen the race.

Is that what it says?
Does seem fairly clear then, if that's the only place relevant.

It would have put him second and if their own fucking rules had been followed, Lewis would have had the opportunity to overtake.

There was no win for Lewis once the fix was in.
