F1 just killed itself as a credible entity today but that wasn't just a hot blooded driver, that was institutional. You can't regain public trust after a stunt like that.

Oh cone off it that twat that parked his Alfa would beat Lewis on a new set of softs over one lap in a red bull. It’s a manufactured result by bending the rules to new extremes
 
I will not read the comments on here. It’s easy to guess what most on here will chant.

I will celebrate the driver who deserves it. With Mercedes regretting they didn’t attack during the virtual safety car and safety car incidents.
If I was Hamilton I would fume at the teams tactics. RB tactics was spot on and they needed to do it because Mercedes had the fastest car.

I feel sorry for Hamilton. But Verstappen absolutely deserved it over the whole season. And he hasn’t been lucky

I don’t have any inch of sympathy for this moaning German twat named Toto Wolff. And I immediately state that if it had been the other way round, Horner would have been a moaning twat as well.

Both Hamilton and Verstappen made this a great F1 season in a long time.
Both Wolff and Horner are simply cry babies that don’t understand sportmenship. And that is solely my opinion.

Obviously Mercedes will try everything to pursue FIA to decide otherwise. To me it’s a lost coarse.

I’m off to celebrate.

i think FIA was put under pressure to call that ending by red bull
the fact lewis won the race by having the better car. the faster car. 3 less pit stops. on the day means lewis was the better driver and champion

Which is the shame really. Maybe they should have contacted both teams and said look guys we want a one lap finale, bring your drivers in for fresh tyres and we’ll restart.....but instead the end of the race was a farce and from all accounts outside of the current rule book.
 
I am in no way an F1 fan but I caught the end of the race. Absolutely farcical.

It seems the racing director wanted it to end in a race, but that’s not his call to make, if the rules say something different. He can’t just make it up as he goes along. The rules are there and it is his job to enforce those rules.

As I say, I don’t really follow F1 but it seems absolutely ludicrous to me that the teams have a line to the race director in the middle of the race and are able to pressure him. Imagine that in football…Pep chatting to VAR when reviewing a decision.

We know that, but neither should it affect today's race result; they can't disqualify Verstappen for an outcome he didn't orchestrate but obviously benefitted from. Ire should be at the FIA.
 
God I'm riled.

That was 10 x worse than any refereeing decision I've seen in football. That was a completely different level of fixing.

the wrong result was given to max at the right point in the race. also knowing lewis had no chance was wrong
max 3 pit stops to lewis one = 50secounds thats how far lewis was in front

It was never going to end in a race though you basically had the equivalent of Max driving an F1 car and Lewis driving a tank
 



I mean if they can prove the overtaking under a safety car then all the other corrupt bullshit wouldn't even matter.
