That would be different - there would be factual evidence and the race finished, and both were under the same understanding.

This would be like calling it where they were 100 yards short of the finish line.

Yep they’ve changed the rules to suit.
if it doesn’t get overturned on appeal I hope a large percentage of fans walk away.
I wouldn’t want to win a title with City that way, even against the rags.
I’ve said before with regards refereeing decisions, I don’t want favouritism towards us, I want equality.
Which we don’t get.
 
I think Mercedes have a very very decent shout for this result to be contested. It does feel as though it was all manufactured to get the last lap shoot out and I don't feel its right myself. So many rules seem to have been, shall we say 'tweaked' to allow some of the lapped cars to pass but not all. Just doesn't sit right.
 
Lewis got the better of the Max overtaking effort at the start of the race. Max got the benefit but that call virtually decided the race with the far newer tyres and no chance for Lewis to recover.

It’s easy to say in hindsight but Masi should have red flagged the race with the 5 or so laps to go. Then both drivers could have fought out the title on fresh sets of tyres.

Should have been a defining day for F1 going into the future but instead, it’s a debacle of their own making.

Typical answer you get when you question anybody who doesnt like Lewis.

You dig a bit further and they usually go into how ''flash'' he is or how he advocates for climate change but flies in a jet, or how he's "up his own arse''

I'd rather they just outright say they don't like him because he's a self made, rich, extremely talented Black man who happens to be a vegan and puts far more back into the world than they ever do.

They'd still come across as a thick racist but at least they'd be an honest thick racist.

that could be the key here with lewis walking away from F1 because of the wrong calls
clear mistake by the FIA and they have to do something to change the result because its the biggest mistake ever

even call all a draw and make both champions or do the right thing and demote max and name lewis champion
