F1 Season 2021

I suspect both protests will be dismissed and Max confirmed as champion.

The controversy will keep bubbling which will help liberty media promote the new season cars and regs.

Yep bent as fuck but we don’t care attitude

Should both protests be dismissed. I expect Toto will congratulate Karen and Max publicly and will say something about this season is closed and Mercedes will be more than ready for next season.

I'd love to hear Hamilton's view on this. I wonder if he really likes the idea of him winning the championship via a stewards decision. I have a feeling he wouldn't.

if its the right call then yes lewis would be happy to be name champion
the FIA fucked up in the restart big time and race director should not be changing the rules even at the stage he did ? but to only let the 5 cars in front of max and let them race again was wrong because knowing both cars was not on the same tyres and max had the advantage for the first time in the race

Your just saying that ,I'm sure Hamilton would love to win it anyway after the farcical way he lost it
I think Hamilton will piss it next year then fuck off. He would have liked 9 championships but will settle for 8 to disappear into the sunset.

The thing is, if they do that, they're hurting the sport long term.

The indisputable fact is that if the FIA followed their rules, Lewis Hamilton is world champion and everyone knows that.

If Verstappen wins because Michael Masi went rogue and didn't follow clearly written rules, it will kill the sport. All of those new fans will be turned off. Future teams will question why they're investing money into a joke of a competition. Drivers will not know what to do because there are no rules.

Mercedes might look bad by taking this to CAS, but someone needs to.

can the FIA change the ruling on lewis leaving the track at the start when the race stewards let it go
red bull was not happy about lewis being let off without letting max over take him

Obviously I'm guessing. But he comes across as a driver who isn't a win at all costs style like Verstappen and Schumacher are.

For someone so successful, his racing against his main rivals has been for the most part clean and I think that he considers fair racing a key aspect to his driving. I don't think he'd like it to not be decided on track.

Hamilton has won 7 fair and square (pretty much), he won't care if number 8 is controversial, although I imagine it will guarantee he doesn't retire on it.

Leaving aside the Masi controversy, it seems a ridiculous sport when you consider that the result is not determined by Hamilton or Verstappen but by a driver I've never heard of crashing his car way down the field.

Get Etihad in their cars next season if they do to boil more piss.
