F1 Season 2021

Well it was obvious that would happen considering the FIA haven't made am impactful decision either way for Hamilton or Verstappen all season.

Anyway, only 3 months until next season!

Why the fuck should I bother to watch anymore if they can do this? I've watched F1 in the past but wouldn't say I'm a huge fan. This season I've looked forward to the races more than ever before and it ends like this.


I'm out as quickly as I was back in.
 
So article 48.13 overrides article 48.12. That's the FIA's official stance and that the decision to allow some but not all back markers to unlap themselves is the Race Controllers decision.

My logic is impeccable. You cannot ascribe a whole season's result to a single round of a championship, however crucial that fixture appears.
If you analyse this F1 season, the reason Mercedes lost it was the several strategy fuck ups in the first half.
Had today's race not included the last lap controversy and concluded with a win for Verstappen, all the commentators would point to the points Mercedes threw away earlier. They do, however, love their clicks and controversy. I bet Mercedes back at the ranch analyse it my way. If they don't they are deluding themselves and missing an opportunity for improvement.
When some commentators were suggesting City were lucky to take the title when Slippy Steve gave a crucial goal away, the Pisscan, no less, said "City are worthy champions. It is decided over 38 games."
 
“The sport” needs to ask itself what’s most important…

Rules or money?
Racing or rules?
Safety or racing?

Or, is ONE MAN MAKING IT UP ON THE FLY what should decide a World Championship?

Horner wanted a “miracle,” but who knew he was going to be handed it by the Race Director changing the rules so he could get one lap and a chequered flag under “car racing”??

Btw, is it “car racing” when you put a guy on 40 lap hard tyres a split second ahead of a guy with new soft tyres and tell them “go car racing”?
 
Four hours after the end of the race the winner is named - joke - for motorsport I'll stick to Touring Cars F1 is a joke

FIA's rules only matter if and when they decide they want to change them and the Race Controllers descretion supercedes all.
