Undoubtedly more cancellations will follow ,so getting games played now is important.
4 cancellations now will mean 3 games a week later on. Doubt any club wants that.

Said this after the spurs game was called off, the league need clearly set out guidelines as to the required number of cases before a game can be postponed, otherwise you'll be getting requests to postpone a huge game because of 1/2 key absentees meanwhile, at the same time another team is playing with more players missing.
You also have to factor in the scheduling, these games are going to have to be played at some point, spurs are already 2 games behind now with next to no gaps in the fixture list. teams could be forced into playing 3/4 times a week later in the season despite the postponements having nothing to do with them.
Make some fucking rules to follow before it becomes even more of a farce.

Is it still just two positive tests, one player and one staff member? Must be more pending surely for them to even ask for a postponement? Or is the two tests just a rumour?

In reality this is just a gimmick. They're playing in London tomorrow night so would they really be in training today or would they be travelling down and utilising local training facilities before the game.
