The key to beating Leeds is to control the game and not get involved in the high paced end to end game they rope you into. At Elland Road last season we just kept trying to counter at pace and then they'd win the ball and do the same. We just need to keep the ball and grind them down. Lots of players missing for them, we will tear them apart if we manage to control things. 4-1 City. Grealish to get on the score sheet again.
Think Grealish may be on the bench.

The good news is Cancelo is suspended so he cant have another nightmare against Bielsa, a manger who understands and exploits his bad positioning.

Other than that Leeds' injuries should make this a slam dunk, but their work rate will make it a painful one in a congested time.

I would personally like a drubbing. It has been long since we had a big game and hopefully they are open tomorrow

Just had a quick look at the Marching On Together forum (can't read anything on LUFC Talk without being a member and logging on, and I'm not doing that). Perfectly normal presentation post of us: factual, neutral. The very opposite of that rabies-infected bile that was on Watford's main forum two or three weeks back.

Would love to give these a hiding. They have a lot of players out too. I think they'll turn up like they did last year and park the bus...They never normally change the way the play but they did against us.
As long as we get three points that's all that matters.

Anybody on here at the F.A. cup tie at Elland Road we won so gloriously in January, ’78? We took a mass of support with us. I remember looking to my right (for some reason I was behind one of the goals) and the entire paddock was just a mass of sky blue, maroon and white when we scored. By God we made a lot of noise! We were brilliant that day. I remember thinking that it was the start of a new era in City's fortunes, that the changing of the guard from the Bell/Young/Lee team had now been completed, and that the future looked rosy ;-(
Happy days, though…

Is this on TV anywhere? I’ve now tested positive for Covid so will be cheering the blues on from me sofa
