Erling Haaland

CEO that absolutely despises us trying to push his player towards a cartel club. Classic

The choice always has and always will come down to Haaland, if he’s not happy with what we can offer (both monetary and other stuff) then he wont come here and we’ll have to “settle” for someone else but you’d have to hope that any player worth their salt sees us as a damn good proposition.

But even if he doesnt we’ll be fine

When Madrid signed Kaka everyone thought they wouldn’t get zidane and break the record again but that’s what they did . If real want both they will get both believe you and me .
People totally discounting the economic makeshift in this league, it’s up the shitter and any agent worth his salt is navigating away from this; discount Mbappe who has played a blinder regarding his contract….

just for debate purposes, are you aware how many times a mino player has rocked up at Madrid? You may be shocked

What is surreal is still talking about Madrid and La Liga as if there hasn’t been a realignment of forces across Europe. Case in point, the poster right after you, talking about Kaka. La Liga is in a decadent moment and as much as I like the guy, you don’t have Ancelotti as your manager today if you’re thriving. They’re still struggling to get some even smaller deals across the finish line. Maybe in a few years we will be talking about the PL in decadence and La Liga as the place to be again. No one can predict the future. But right now that isn’t the reality.
And I insist. Why are people so unwilling to listen to the fucking signs out of Madrid? Why are they relying on cliches? Show me right now ONE SINGLE INSTANCE of the Madrid of old days currently alive. One position in which they have players they don’t need or are renewing contracts to overpay unnecessary players. One piece of business that goes overboard like that.

I do have congratulate Perez though. I thought this realignment was common sense (in most circles it is), but he has managed to keep the mysticism alive, unlike Barcelona. No one is here saying “of course Barcelona can sign Haaland, they’re Barcelona after all, they will find the money and will attract the player on name alone”. No, “Barcelona are skint”, we hear.

Special shout out to Javier Tebas as well!
Cracking post, Gus

Unless you're from a different universe your timeline is all messed up... :)

I assume you meant Cristiano Ronaldo not Zidane.

Honestly I'm starting to think Vlahovic is a better option because of this. It's fucking constant and it's obvious that it's done to serve only himself. It's becoming very, very offputting to me that Haaland is associated with this guy.

City in padtticular have a dressing room with egos under control. No single player is worth upsetting that balance.

There is zero chance we will get involved in this circus.

Mino is creating this game just as he did with Pogba.
No player , and I mean no player , is worth pursuing under these conditions.

Get a grip Alfie.
He may well turn it into a circus but there’s nothing wrong with that quote. They put a microphone in his mouth and he spoke: no pre-agreement, we will look for the best option, of course he can stay at Dortmund (respectful to the current club). Absolutely nothing controversial there. I understand some have such repulsion for the guy they wish he never spoke publicly, but he is a representative and this time nothing wrong was said

Imagine if he said what people here wanted to hear “yes we have a pre-agreement with a club from Manchester and he would never stay at Dortmund another year”. How classy that would be

It is all smoke and mirrors with this guy.
He knows what the boy would like to happen.

I can’t be arsed personally and I don’t think our club will deal with this clown.
