F1 Season 2021

I'd just like to reiterate what an impressive season Sainz has had. First person to ever beat Leclerc in F1 as a teammate.

It'll be really interesting to see what happens if Ferrari are competitive next year.

Also, it might be worth finally asking, is Vettel that good anymore?
Vettel is cruising through to his last season. He's helped establish a new team and doesn't need to race anymore.

I'd like to see him doing the TV coverage if he fancies it. Bringing his humour to the coverage.

Probably do a few more cameos on Top Gear as well.

Dont blame you for not wanting to clcik on the link. Here's the headline:

Lewis Hamilton may be punished for not attending awards ceremony, says new FIA president

Anybody would think they want him out of the sport...

His political activism must be too close for comfort.

Lewis won't give a shit. I fully expect him to come back and win next season as a fuck you. Then possibly the next one after just to make sure he's down as the greatest driver in F1.

He wants 8 and out.

Verstappen is a loser as well, because a large majority of us do not regard him as World Champion.

The season is void in my opinion.
I hope someone has a banner when he comes to Silverstone saying "Red Bull - Cheats you wins"

Fair enough.

Still makes him the best. I will be backing him next year whilst his car makes Karen cry.
The FIA, in making their manufactured title win might have been a very short sighted approach.

Hamilton could well have walked away and they could have a full season without him and a guaranteed different winner.

It's been eight days now and I'm still in total disbelief and raw anger over what transpired last Sunday. It's like living in a live, real life version of the emperors new clothes.

Mick Schumacher is rewarded for his excellent season with a role as Ferrari reserve driver

Seriously? He's won seven titles already so is it really that gutting to lose this one?

Someone like Felipe Massa is where the truly gutting stories are. Basically two chances at winning the championship (2007 and 2008) and lost the championship of the last lap of the season at his home race.

The last corner of the last lap at that.

Excellent season, please explain why he's had an Excellent season from where I'm sat he was very poor
Those were Ferrari’s words not mine. Although his was top of the table in damage caused to cars through the season.

You don't understand do you?

Rumours Verstappen has threatened to walk if his race engineer fucks off to another job.

For some it’s not about who won or lost, it’s the manner in which it unfolded.

I‘m sure that MV fans will try to wash that last lap away as they believe it was his rightful title but, and a huge but, the decision to go against all the regulations to basically decide a title, has not only left the ’sport’ with a question mark above it, it has led to many long term fans thinking that it’s not sport at all.

The last lap was not about ‘sport’, it was about changing history.

I wouldn't blame Hamilton retiring if I'm honest. He'll be questioning where the integrity of the sport has gone and may not want to be fucked over again.
