Anti Vax Demonstration outside South Stand

I'm currently isolating having tested positive this morning (yes, Christmas for us is effectively cancelled). Coincidentally, my brother called me just as the dreaded red line emerged to say he'd also tested positive. Almost certainly, we were both infected at some point during the Newcastle away trip at the weekend. I only mention it because my brother tested positive by way of a PCR test back in late 2019 giving a lie to the theory that reinfection is impossible. While admittedly anecdotal, this is just one incidence of many I know of. With all due respect, you might wish to choose your sources more carefully.
There are loads over here too (as below):

The number of Covid reinfections with symptoms of the disease has been rapidly increasing recently. The National Institute of Public Health (SZÚ) has recorded 8,156 cases since the start of the epidemic and 3,465 of them (42 percent) occurred this November, the SZÚ said. Some 4,832 were women and 3,324 men. The medium age is 37 years. The interval between the first and second episodes of the illness was between 61 and 624 days. Besides, the SZÚ has recorded 8,358 cases of reinfection when people had at least one past illness without symptoms.

Nice work Knaresborough. Irrefutable evidence is always useful in the face of blind ignorance but then, as they say in the newspaper business, why let facts get in the way of a good story.

Dentists and tatooists in cahoots with Bill Gates & big pharma!

We need to shut them all down, who's with me?
I think it is more the matter of choice, people should have the right to choose, if they do not want one, so what... should not affect the Vaxxed (yes they might take a hospital bed which they have been taxed for already), the repeat and booster VAX, which is a very new method compared to the other vaccines we all have received over our lives.. 1 shot and done. The holiday booster for 10 years I used to have to get while working overseas. Now we have multi shots and repeat boosters needed over the year (improved tech?). CHOICE is what people want, not vaccinations forced upon them. You should support the right to choose over the "I am right and you are wrong approach"

enjoy your 4th booster

It's amazing that so many are swept up into a percieved ongoing covid booster issue.

And yet they've been quite happily watching (or being part of) millions of people getting a flu injection (booster) every year for decades.

If you don't want to listen to a wealth of information and analysis from doctor's specialized in the area, and ignore basic maths... There's not much hope, especially when resorting to 'oh so witty' comments in reply, without providing any rebuffing (especially of the maths).

i understand your logic, but have I got the right then to come into the pub when you are in and shoot a shotgun randomly around the room? I won’t intentionally shoot you, but there is obviously an increased chance. But I assume that’s ok as it is my right? Because you are proposing it is the right of someone not to be vaccinated and then go out and increase the risk of giving the illness to someone else near them who might die as a result?

Indeed. His wikipedia entry makes interesting reading - especially with all the links to actual sources provided explaining why he's a complete disinformation provider.

Get well soon blue

Not many replys, think you like that don't you come on admit it.
It's almost like asking, if a tree falls in the forest and there's no one near to hear, does it make a sound?

It's just utterly irrelevant to unvaccinated idiots wandering round cities catching and spreading a deadly disease.

A number of people I have come across as listening too much to the anti vax rubbish, I asked, ‘Did you have your childhood inoculations and have you got a scar on your arm from BCG?
The answer has invariably been Yes.
It seems when this is pointed out and that they have yet to die of, or even get, TB, MMR, diphtheria, polio or suffered from the vaccine they have had, they can be inclined to get Covid-19 vaccinated….
Yeah but you can't prove that it was vaccines that stopped them getting TB, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, diphtheria or polio.

Ah... SHOULD not affect the vaxxd. Apart from still getting infected, possibly with serious consequences, or just having to isolate, plus the cost to the NHS and the economy.

Why should we support such idiotic choices?
