Leicester City (H) - Post-Match Thread

"The midfield and forward line were sensational for the 1st half and an utter embarrassment for the 2nd. Fern, Gundo, KDB, Bernie, Sterling and Mahrez just decided to stop playing. I don’t care how good we are, we will struggle against anyone if half of the team just decide that they can’t be arsed for 45 mins. Not overly impressed that Pep just sat there and watched it happen either"

As i said , raz kept playing or he wouldnt have been in the right place for the goal
Any chance you two could consider the matter finished?

A 1-1 bore draw.

Cracking match, we were flying but lost the plot for twenty minutes in the second half. Everything is clicking into place, even the penalties are going in! I'd really love for Zinko to score a goal. He's the only outfield player not to score.

That was some match, credit to Leicester for not lying down in the 2nd half but we were wide open at times.
Superb from us in the 1st half.
Last 6-3 at home I can recall was against Arsenal in our title winning season under Pelligrini, when Fernandinho was immense. He was not remotely immense today unfortunately and looks to be struggling.
Hope those who turned up today enjoyed the game.

Crazy game, a throwback to the City of old where we contrive to throw away games we are coasting. We could have scored twelve, they could have scored six or more. Individual errors and being wide open to the counter, also some powder puff challenges when they were breaking made it too easy for them. Thank God their defending was worse than ours.

It's hard to complain, we scored six, won, did our bit but fuck me I hope Rodri and Walker are back soon. I'm glad we've got a cushion because if covid hits us we might need it

Still can’t figure out what the fuck happened in the second half, get Stonesy back in with Rubes
Think it was basically taking the foot off the gas altogether second half till it got too 4-3 then they realised needed to up the tempo again..hopefully it’s a eye opener for some as to how a game can nearly turn when absolutely home and hosed first half ..

As I said in the match thread at half time, I was surprised how one-sided it was in the first half, despite Leicester being a threat coming forward. City responded well in the end.

Lets hope Leicester take some confidence from scoring 3 at the home of the champions into the next game and smash the Dippers.
I can also see that game being a goal fest

Crazy game. Superb first 30 minutes. Fell asleep at the wheel for 15 minutes second half in a defensive horror show. Came back to make it safe with 2 goals. Missed Rodri but Sterling had an all round excellent game. Foden seems unable to get into games when he's on as a sub - although he was the false 9 sacrificial lamb when he came on.
That's entertainment.

What an unbelievable start, so good that even though we scored after only 4 mins you could definitely say it had been coming.

6 more goals, 6 points clear, brilliant times
