Nope Melbourne get its weather from Perth + 3days. It was 40C on Christmas day, 40C on Boxing day so if anything it is going to get hotter.

But it is a big ask . As we watched today complacency can be an undoing . Was going to call it a draw and go up the wooden steps to Bedfordshire but chrimbo drinks still in fridge and cabinet I’ll give it another hour .

Once Smith is gone there’s not a lot of runs left.

Green and Harris could hit a few but it’s not going to be big 100+ scores that end the game.

I think that’s there frustration with this England side, they’re not that far away from winning because this isn’t a classic Australia side. It’s a great bowling attack and 2 1/2 good batsmen.
