Well, fair do's to England's bowlers, and all that, but Anderson, great competitor that he is and has been, is not exactly the future of English bowling. Even Root, I see with some surprise, is now thirty (I had him younger by about two or three years). Where are the young players going to come from?
 
Congrats to England's bowlers for finally giving it the semblance of a competition. I'm afraid I'm not very sanguine, though. Given the way England have been batting, 82 could turn out to be not a ‘slender’ lead, but quite a big one. We'll see…maybe when I wake up tomorrow morning I'll have a nice surprise.
