I think he would have turned up with a completely different attitude than he has at United. Pep would have laid down the law on Morning 1, for a kick off, and his lazy ways he’s slipped into very quickly at United would not be accepted here.
Just quoted this as it's the important bit. However Pep would lay down the law before he signed. - "Like it, or move to a lesser club. There's one down the road that needs the publicity".

Aside from offering stupid wages (which they can't do forever) what have the rags got to offer a new signing ?
The training ground is outdated and they have little chance of winning the league or champs league in the foreseeable future.
The swamp needs millions spending on it which the Glazers don't want to do and that alone will put off any new buyer.
They have players on ridiculously expensive contracts so wont/can't leave which will put any decent manager off.
coming.
An ex manager that interferes in everything which pisses everyone else at the club off.

Even if I wanted to I could not think of one positive thing to say about them.

Great innit :-)

I was talking about the investment I'm fully aware of how bad they have been. They show me year in year out which is excellent.

If you have spent what they have over a decade 4th is a bad season. Huge underachievers since pissy pants stopped managing them.
It’s all gone down hill since Ronaldos arrival. You can see the teams togetherness is just not there. It’s a bunch of individuals. I’m so glad we didn’t end up getting hissyfit. Can you imagine what he would have done to our dressing room ? Ragnick had done diddly squat to make them any better. 4222? what the hell is that all about ?

It's finally happened before my eyes, something I thought would never happen in my lifetime (especially walking through town with a City top on when they won the treble).
All the grief, all the pisstaking was worth it for this moment.
The turd has finally flushed, they're done and I'm here for it.
Top post blue. Enjoy the shitshow ;)

I know I have mentioned this before but if Ferguson hadn't got greedy over some horse spunk, they would have never have found themselves in this position.
Coupled with the fact that he wanted to win the league one last time which he managed to do by getting one good season out of Van Persie.
He left the club in a right state both on and off the pitch, yet they still worship him.
Say what you want about Busby but the club was always first for him.

I think it will go one of 2 ways. Either they’ll slowly improve under Rangnick and just grind out a 4th placed finish through late Ronald’s goals, De Gea bailing them out and Fernandez penalties.

Or the players will start throwing tantrums and they could finish 8th and Rangnick never gets his consultancy gig after this season and the whole thing is a disaster.

One thing to keep an eye on is Chelsea’s form. If we beat them next, they’ll have got 20/36 points from their last 12 games.

That’s too long to be a bump in the road (a third of the season!) and it’s not close to top 4 form. Arsenal, West Ham and Spurs could catch them if they keep that form up for another month.
It's a good point about Chelsea. It's possible that if weren't for last season coming to an end that they were on a downward spiral (of sorts), and without that safety net we may be seeing it come to fruition.

I think given United's individual quality in attack, they only need to hit a certain threshold of good as a team before those players can carry them along. As you say, it'll take a really bad player reaction for things to go wrong but the dressing room doesn't seem too much a happy place right now.

Masterplan?

Couple of seasons ago I gave my lad and his mates a lift to Salford City to watch Oldham (his second team!). I managed to get a ticket in the Salford end, rather than hang around or come home and drive back

Anyway, this bellend ended up stood right next to me and for some reason latched onto me. He was in my ear the whole game and talked utter bollocks for 90-minutes. I can say with total confidence that he is definitely not a full shilling

The Christmas Fairy keeps on giving .........................
We win all festive games
Chelsea and 'pool drop points
And, the rags get beaten at home by Wolves - the team that had ONLY SCORED 13 GOALS all season.

Last week the Waikato Times had a picture of CR7 slumping off after the Newcastle game - I bet the same picture will be in tomorrow's edition.
