That 34 Year Banner Mocking Us at The Swamp.

No we're better than that.
 
No it’s a terrible idea, they don’t need our help looking ridiculous. Plus they’re not even 5 years since their last trophy, and they’ve enough might to get more in the next decade if they realise what the problem is, they won’t be going away for a spell like we did. All the more reason to enjoy where they are now.

I've championed this previously, can we not commandeer the original from the football museum and hang it with pride at the Etihad?

Nice charitable donation and we have the perfect historical landmark to educate the youngsters and embarrass them.........

Quoting 5 years from the rags last trophy is playing the game on the reds terms. I don’t want the banner but if we had one, it should be 9 years because the rags were starting from a position of serial trophy winners and have mocked “minor” trophies.

The dominance of social media to take the piss out of the rags on a daily basis means a banner is unnecessary. We do t need to motivate them either IMHO.

They are an utterly irrelevant club and are of no threat or of any interest to us, other than comedy value.

 
If we're after some kind of banner to put it up tgem and others I'd simply go 'rent free'.

its embarrassing that they did the banner, they actually thought their shithouse club would always be on top, never in a million years did they see this coming.
their very own decline hits their faces enough itself.
i dread to think what football world we would live in had Rags not been battered down this way, all around the country celebrates their weary form.

Now they have egg on their faces from having to take the banner down in disgrace.
