Are you kidding? City would have subtly dampened links months ago if we weren’t interested. We might not get him but you can safely bet your mortgage that we will would want to sign the best young forward in the world at a time when we are the best team in the world without a forward.

The funny thing is looking at his previous post before this one, from August 2021(!): “I havd never once claimed to be an ITK or said I get inside info.”
 
If we don't sign the lad from Fiorentina this window, who appears to be ready to sign for us at the click of a city exec finger, then it would be a good indication that the club feel confident in signing Haaland in the summer. Exciting either way

I really hope thats the case and not the other possibility...that we think we can still get kane if haaland falls through. Shudder.

Would that be the same confidence that led us to put all our eggs in the Harry Kane basket last summer? I only hope this confidence is better placed.

Or we don’t sign Vhalovic and then get stung by Haaland and mino and end up with neither………
