The accounts won’t be good, but it is a matter of comparing them with others. The media will obviously make a huge thing about our poor performance, financially, and ignore Covid. But equally, they will hail how well Untied, Liverpool, Leicester Spurs and Chelsea managed their finances against the odds

They shouldn't be that bad in my view, as we should've had the TV money that was withheld the previous season, plus the CL money from the 2019/20 delayed tournament. And we should be showing thr transfer profit for Sané, Harrison and others. Khaldoon did say we'd be profitable again.

Sorry guys. I'm not pasting the story because of copyright restrictions but it's all good. Perhaps the link doesn't work because you have to be a subscriber. i found the story through googling after seeing the story on their front page. I then had to answer a question about adverts I had seen so perhaps the link doesn't work because its subs only.

here's a snippet.

City’s operating revenues to €644m in the 2020/21 season, up 17 per cent year on year, according to KPMG. It covers broadcast, match day and commercial income. Also club’s finances are due for publication in the coming days according to a person close to the club.
