I’ve no picks…….. yet, but love this time of year when hundreds of geese at a time, pass overhead from Canada, on their way to Bull Island.

Just to hear them wakening me in the morning is brilliant in itself.

Canada geese are a pain. There's a small lake bout 100 yards from our door and it's absolutely covered with the bleeders. They're so cocky too, sit in the road and won't budge when you wanna drive by, plus they shit all over the garden and path. Though I do like to watch a crowd of them landing on the lake.

They’re not even good eating. Had some decent jerky and the breasts can be ok if you marinate for about a week
