I lived in Calgary for 4 years and me and my friends spent countless hours at Moraine. Architecturally, though, I'd have to say Prague and Rome are the standouts.

On Darnton Rd in Stalybridge there's a large lake with an island known as Stamford Park boating lake. It is adjacent to the Park. There isn't a boating lake in Stamford Park. There is a duck pond. What are you on about?

The only thing missing is the bullet hole in the can!
A good day out when you were a teenager with a young lass to impress…or wag off school down the road at Ashton Grammar!!!On Darnton Rd in Stalybridge there's a large lake with an island known as Stamford Park boating lake. It is adjacent to the Park.
I grew up next to it. I used to swim and fish in it....Why would you argue about that ? I don't understand.
I know some people on here like to argue and prove others wrong but why would you deny a place exists ?

Prague is stunning. Headed there in a few weeks hopefully.I lived in Calgary for 4 years and me and my friends spent countless hours at Moraine. Architecturally, though, I'd have to say Prague and Rome are the standouts.

Then the kids who rowed to the island and the boat floated away, it was the talk of Stalybridge and Duki!!!
Grindelwald in Switzerland and the Lofoten Islands in Norway are both astonishing, as the Torres del Paine park in Chile.
Sossusvlei in Namibia is out of this world.
As opposed to Victoria Station from the old Manchester Arms Hotel.Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwe side.
Lofoten looks incredible and is on my to do list. There is a youtube video filmed by a Swiss female biker and the scenery is absolutely stunning.
It's a great drive down when the sun's out. We stayed in Kabelvag (I think), so about 2/3 of the way down the road to A.
We hired a car and drove round the West coast of Iceland. Again an incredible drive, open roads, lava fields on one side, mountains in the distance and a foreboding coast line on the other. Quite incredible.
