Agreed. Didn't look so it became a percentage ball. This is what Pep talks about when he says Foden needs to be smarter and more patient in the final third.

Theres 2 centrebacks between the pass and Alonso, so coming in behind Alonso wouldn’t do anything.

For us to score that goal, it has to happen when Sterling is playing through the middle.
