Viola nation said this. Its a fan site but the guy who runs it has contacts at Fiorentina. Apparently Vlahovics agent has a deal where he gets a huge commission if Vlahovic goes to Juve on a free and doesn't sign a contract extension with Fiorentina. Apparently Fiorentina have tried to give everything to Vlahovic to sign a new deal but his agent is not listening or even contemplating a contract extension for his client.

The rumour is that Vlahovics agent is not picking up the phone to fiorentina as he's been in discussions with Juve about Vlahovic leaving pocketing a big signing bonus and his agent getting a massive commission. Either Juve get him on a free or they stiff Fiorentina when Vlahovic has one year left to get him on a cheap deal, which Fiorentina can’t do anything about.

This is what worries me about Haaland, or any of these big deals. So many players moving on a free this summer, a lot who went for more than 80mil. Mbappe, Pogba, Dembele, Coutinho etc.

If you’ve not got an extension 3 years in, it’s a real game of cat and mouse between us and the agent.

But yeah, if he’s set on a move to Juve, good luck to him.

Can't see Vlahovic waiting about a year and a half, on low wages, if he gets offers from top clubs and his agent does as well. 6 monts till the summer, sure. Sums up the current situation..so many guys refusing to sign new contracts waiting for a bigger payout..the 6 year contract will be the new norm or transfer fees will drop..players can not have it both ways..the times are changing.

When the client is being used as a tool for the agent to milk amounts they have not earned or deserve from clubs with them calling the shots it should be very clear this needs stopping. They get paid handsomly as it is, If they want more get your boots on you leeching greasy rats.

This just screams out to me as a horrible mechanic being levered into the game. Football will never benefit from this, only a few agents with eyes only for money and who will take a big shit on the game to get it will prosper.

Agents should be assistants basically, not people to be appeased and woo'd by clubs. It is the players who should be in that position with agents there to facilitate the players desires, not the other way around or even close to it.

If we flip that round, agents are also being paid handsomly to be the punching bag. For all we know Vlahovic wants Juventus and the 20m euros that goes in his pocket as well, he doesnt mind employing this fella if hes going to take all the shit in the media for him.

The player can just sit back and say oh nothing to do with me you chat to my agent, i just focus on football etc.

I refuse to believe agents have such control over players these days that they have free will to do what they want.

wtf is juve up to? somehow they seem to have some dodgy shit behind the sense going on.

Juventus set up a lot of deals where they take a player on 2-year loan fee with an obligation to buy at end of loan.

Currently Juventus have deals like the above for Chiesa with £40m redemption at end of this season; Moise Kean redemption end of next season for £24m; Locatelli redemption of £30m end of next season. Chiesa and Kean also included loan fees.

Morata will have been on loan for 2-years end of this season and Juve have an option to buy for £32m having already paid an £18m loan fee to Athletico M.

Expect something like this with Vlahovic and Juve, indications from the player looks like he is interested in Juve. Vlahovic will probably replace Morata as I doubt Juve will want to pay another £30m to make the move permanent.

Morata interesting Barca and with Griezmann on loan at Athletico Madrid from Barca you can see how the transfer wheels could work in these deals.

Fiorentina wanted to sell Chiesa to Premier league club as more money offered but player insisted on Juve and Vlahovic looks like doing the same to Fiorentina.
