TV Series

Started trigger point this morning , first fifteen mins they had their helmets and goggles on then off when they were at the bomb by the car , did nobody say helmets and glasses on when you are actually close to the bomb , so many plot holes , bollocks and i wanted to like it , acting shit too

I read something yesterday that people are actually watching it in their droves because it's so bad it's almost a comedy, "far fetched rubbish" was one description.

We watched all of Line of Duty (I should say the wife watched it :( ) and it reminds me very much of that. Can't say I'm impressed by either.

Actually saw an interview on a chat show (probably Graham Norton)with the star of the show. She actually mentioned this point and said that's what the actual bomb disposal advisor to the show said real ones actually do. They said a helmet isn't going to protect anything if a bomb does go up so might as well take it off to be more comfortable for the upcoming process.

Really hate Wendy from Ozark. I'm hoping Ruth throttles her. Most annoying character / actress going

Just starting All of us are dead, as a fan of train to busan, alive, kingdom and the wailing I have high hopes
Koreans telly normally gets the zombie genre spot on.
Watched Hellbound on Netflix, a bit weird and (spoiler alert) most of the stars get killed as the episodes go through, but its OK if you like that sort of thing - the monsters are pretty bad but you don't get to see them nearly enough, 5/10 from me.

Yeah I was a bit disapointed, the first 3 episode set up well then it ditched it's set up for what was a linked but seperate 3 part story, seemed like the whole series was just setting itself up for the final scene and will tell a fuller story in season 2

It’s a bit like Kamikaze pilots wearing safety headgear, no point whatsoever, they used to also take a drink of Sake wine, over the limit for drinking and flying but there was no consequence.

I watched it on the back of Squid Game (which I enjoyed) and Last Train to Busan (which was brill!). I'll probably watch the 2nd series if they make it :)

That sort of makes sense but the hats and goggles were made a big thing early on , dramatic effect maybe , on and off more than a prossies knickers lol

Currently rewatching Unforgotten and just finished series 2, absolutely draining. Top quality TV
It's a tough watch, very good acting and the stories themselves are excellent, you can almost feel the humanity draining away from the police officers.
