I haven't seen it but If true as suggested it's just beyond belief. It's just not right on any level and not just cause its an excuse to shit on the scum. Thing is, United may well sack him, but do they really have a leg to stand on when they had no qualms signing Ronaldo and welcome Giggs back for a seat in hospitality at least once since his accusations came out? They can't exactly say "we don't tolerate violence against women" because that's evidently not true.

That's not an anti-United thing, by the way, more a comment on how football clubs deal with offenders in general. Seems to be an if-you're-good-enough-we'll-ignore-it deal.

I'm wondering if there were already some legal proceedings taking place because some of these incidents/ Greenwood's character were well known months and months ago.

Outside of super injunctions (if we're still calling them that?) Greenwoods name was thrown in as a guess around the time the Mendy information was coming to light.

After some very light digging, people online were making references to Greenwood and domestic abuse half a year ago.

So I wonder if this has been happening behind the scenes for a while, in terms of an investigation and whether or not she's been advised to take everything down as it could jeopardise the work that has already gone into it.

I've heard the audio clip and seen the bruises. I honestly do not understand how anyone can come away from that with "two sides to every story" bullshit. I'm glad she's put that on social media for all to see because even with that people are defending him.
Too often this goes on in relationships or just men feeling they are entitled to just take whatever they want.

Look I'm sure it won't be long before all these posts disappear just like the bloody Mendy stuff but we cannot continue to censor violence and rape against women. If needs discussing so we can try and change attitudes. This girl deserves justice and deserves to be heard.
