Alvarez does seem most like a Jesus replacement. Striker/winger but not first choice at either, very hard working.

Gabby could be great somewhere else, it's just not quite worked for him here.

3rd choice winger on either side. He might want to stay but the chances are becoming less and less with every signing.

I doubt Sterling and/or Jesus would still be here if this is true. Wage bills will have to be readjusted.

Too many players up front. If Haaland comes he's playing KDB/Dias type minutes and the current dynamic breaks down. I think we'd have to lose one and maybe even two out of that front three (especially if we want Palmer and/or McAtee to have any shot).

If Haaland does come (I believe Tolmie that he's said yes, but just being realistic anything can happen till its official, plenty of examples of players saying yes and moving elsewhere), we can be reasonably sure Pep is extending yeah? Or at least quite optimistic on that front?

Has halland said yes because everyone else has said no?? Still highly doubt this will happen. (Not saying tolmies info is not true) but I doubt we will be in for him while his agent is who it is we will want a striker for the next 10 years and that won't be halland under his agent.
