xG is the Expected Goals statistic. It's a bit in depth but it can essentially predict how many goals you'd expect a team to score or concede based on the chances that they had. So a penalty has a high xG whereas a 50 yard shot has a low xG.

The graph above charts each teams average xG. Or basically it shows how many goals they have been expected to score and concede per game. It's not a perfect system but it's just a bit of information that you can use to support a point. It tries to think about perfect scenarios with no luck or form involved.

In the graph there's a face of Conte. That shows that in his management time, Spurs have created the chances to score similar amount of goals to what City have this season and have had stopped the opposition creating chances to about the same level as City and Liverpool.

The axis on the left is conceded, lower is better. The bottom axis is scored, more to the right is better.

I knew Greenwood was out on bail so on the R4 news at 1500 when they announced:
'Manchester City player........ ' l thought it was other example of media 'accidentally' mixing up the Manchester clubs and the Trafford one. But , it was about Mendy attending an admin appearping at Chester to sort out a hearing.
BUT even though l would have put money on the likelihood the two cases would have been mentioned together because of similarities. Greenwood was not mentioned at all. No surprise at all that Mendy is being constantly used on the yellow distraction in such a way to make rag think he is innocent.
He might well be. Three days questioning and not charged is a little strange.
