West Brom Thread - 2021/22

I certainly don’t want the serial failure that is the elephant man but with our current inept owner running the club this badly, it honestly won’t matter who they appoint.
 
Fans happy he is out due to awful football and Sky saying Bruce is favourite to get the job. Poor fans as the football will be just as bad
 
Wish relics like Bruce would just piss off out of the game ain’t they conned enough money out of clubs.......... ain’t there enough managers that are doing good jobs lower down the ladder to deserve a shot ..............still if he gets the job at the baggies he will no doubt pop up at Wolves that the kind of loyal man he is

Yea mate,it's weird how the mind works,my first thoughts straight away was him,the manager merry go round at it's finest.

Although there was a brief second where I questioned myself as to had he been there before,as he's been everywhere else.

Whatever you might say about the elephant man, he does have a good record of promotion clubs from the Championship to the Premier League.

Admittedly, his PL career is awful, but that’s due, at least in part, to the fact that he is usually in charge of newly promoted sides.

Never said otherwise,good luck to him I say,let's hope then he doesn't get them up then,to avoid disappointment

But he's had more clubs than Tiger Woods that guy

How to become really rich.
1. Be a football manager just good enough to attract gullible chairmen, but not good enough to actually win anything or even mount a fleeting challenge.
2. Do your thing for a year or two, producing football from the 1950s, then get the sack.
3. Take home the pay for a full 5 year contract.
4. Put your feet up for a while, phone at the ready for when the next idiot comes along.
5. Rinse and repeat.
