Need to get the job done, no complacency.

The PL will be doing all it can to help the scouse twats who won’t drop many points for the rest of the season. We can’t afford to slip up against these sort of teams.

It will be difficult unless we score early. As at Brentford they will bore us to death. Man mark players, crowd round the ball in small areas of the pitch. A nuisance club.

Fuck them. I used to have a lot of time for them but shown their true plastic colours this season.
File under Hull/Swindon/Oldham
Expect the full Tinpot songbook, including ‘’Where were you when you were shit’ from a 6,000 fan club whose fans never bothered going until they got a sniff of the prem
Maybe. But the fact that they've adopted the gently self-mocking "we're just a bus stop in Hounslow" song is kind of endearing in a way that City supporters of a certain age (like thee & me) ought to be able to relate to.

(On the other hand if you really want to wind up their fans tell them they're Fulham in disguise.)

They were a bunch of diving, cheating, ploughed field, Cult loving, plastic JCL cunts when we played them down there. Typical tinpot promoted club who give it the big un on their holiday in the big time.
Stoke’s ground is 60% empty nowadays. And similarly, most of these lot will disappear once reality bites.
And that includes their manager, who looks like a ski instructor whose mugshot is on News at 10 after being arrested for noncery
Let it out mate!!!

There used to literally be two-thirds fewer of them singing that song.
Fair play, at least they were the proper hardcore matchgoers.
Like pretty much all who went before, promotion has now ruined them. JCL plastics giving it the big un.
Oldham and Bury used to have a bigger and better travelling hardcore than these pretenders

Best concourse award goes to brentford and that's weird cos it only holds 17 grand. Had many memorable times at Griffin Park good and bad but none I'd swap ( hello feltham ). Who said F..k brentford or should we blame it on the I.T.

Sad to see this degree of derision for clubs less fortunate than ourselves.

After their diving whining "deserved a point" with one shot on target and 11 men behind the ball performance last time out, I hope we score early and hump them 6- 0.
As someone already mentioned they could easily go down now the newness has rubbed off. In response to "they would have to go on a bad run", lose to us and that's 5 losses on the bounce. It doesn't get to be more relegation form than that.

Disagree. Their fan base is traditional and old-school and they dislike the plastics who've come along this season.
I know a few Bees fans and I am with you on this - do not understand the vitriol

The fellas I know have been lifelong fans - very loyal.

Of course there will be a few JCLs now they have a new ground and are promoted - but that happens everywhere - and perhaps people could query the increase in our match-going support since the good times arrived.

I hope that they stay up - but get battered on Wednesday

Ha ha, did you go to that Cup game in the 90's when the football special got delayed and arrived at Half Time, and never forgotten it!

Some lads jumped out of the train onto the track, presumably to get a Taxi.

We have a fully fit squad so strongest team possible.

-----------------------Ederson
Walker-------Dias----------Laporte------Cancelo
--------------------------Rodri
------------Bernardo--------Gundogan
Mahrez---------------KDB------------------Foden

I think Cole Palmer is injured and perhaps Jesus too…otherwise all good

Probably a reaction to media coverage. City get absolutely slated whereas Brentford get lauded to the sky for the spirit etc. In fact they should be. I think journalists are wowed when they go to a Forest v Leicester or a Brentford home game because thousands of people coming together to support a football club is moving but when they visit City they carry with them pre-existing prejudice about money, the owner etc

I think City might play Stones and Dias because of their height. Brentford were extremely cynical when we played them before. Their main tactic was to win free-kicks and then load the ball into the box but against other sides I have seen them play too. With it being City away I think we will see more of the former.
