Hopefully another resounding victory for the boys to see all the tears on MOTD later. Genuinely think we win this one 5-0. I don't think Pep or the players have forgot about our disappointing result in the league last time. Expecting a good performance tonight - maybe even a Grealish goal (if he plays).

I think this will be tough, a big if a grind unless we score early. Brentford are a well coached side. They stick their game plan and are pretty dogged. They are one of those sides that rarely allow matches to open up.

That said their plan like Palace and Southampton is to be brave on the counter early while they have the energy and then play deeper as the match wears on.

Early goals please otherwise it could be a bit twitchy.

Brentford will have tightened up after losing 4-1 at Everton in the Cup.
I urge caution.

Me too. The way Frank was talking after we beat them at their place, he expected us to destroy them and we didn’t. He might go for it tonight in the misguided view that they can match us.

No. He literally never has before, so unlikely tonight, especially as he had an hour for the EDS on Monday.

Guessing the lineup these days shows how well Pep has every fucker drilled and confident. I can argue with my own head about everyone starting and still feel happy with the lineup (regardless of how inaccurate it turns out to be).
