Wayne Rooney - new manager at DC United (P55)

Rooney played in the infamous Arsenal game with Riley in charge. He could have been sent off three times in that game, but instead Riley awarded him a soft penalty for a 'foul' by Sol Campbell. Rooney dived.
Didn`t that end Arsenals long unbeaten run ?

Like Gerrard, Shrek has a wonderful PR machine that rewrites history about him on the pitch.

He was a dirty **** who was rarely booked at the scum.

The one that will always stand to me was the elbow to the Wigan players face right in front of Clattenberg and he did he fuck all to him.

The irony was that he himself got injured in that game, broke his metatarsal which pretty much ruled him out of the WC.

Yeh, I’m sure berbatov blazed over, that’s when i started thinkin it was going to be our day!!
IIRC the rags forced a good save from a free kick soon after we scored and created sod all for the remainder of the game. I stood there waiting for the late onslaught but it just never happened. Just as when we beat them 1-0 in the penultimate home game 12 months later.

I’ve just heard shrek on talkshite claiming that the rags side of circa 2008 is the greatest English team ever.

Keep away from the booze, kids!

We sold [Carlos] Tevez, then we sold Ronaldo. I was the one player left with high profile," Rooney reflects.

"I went into Alex Ferguson's office and I said, 'what's the plan here?' His response was, 'get out of my office'."

"If you look five years down the line from that meeting, Alex Ferguson knew where the club was going, he got out as quick as he could and they're still picking up the pieces now."

Ex England captain coming out say he deliberately set out to injure someone badly should have his caps cancelled, absolutely despicable behaviour.

Kun has deliberately done that too, and as you can see in some of the examples he refers to harsh treatment from the same defenders in previous games, seems to suggest some premeditation.

He went into games with an idea he was going to get revenge, it wasn't all in the heat of the moment or just sticking in the context of single game.

That sort of talk will NEVER get him the rag manager gig, WTF is he thinking?
