We know now of one player who spoke publicly for a week of his intention to end another player's career and went and did exactly that on the following Saturday afternoon and of another player who admits he changed his studs because he wanted to "hurt" a Chelsea player. Interestingly the two are from the same dressing room and the same manager presided over both of them. Where could this unrestrained aggression possibly come from?

Didn't Southampton have a central defender sent off after 2 minutes last season at the swamp? Fortunately history never repeats itself.
