17:30 Kick off time (GMT), live on Sky Sports for those in the UK.

This is a game where we can really put our foot down and demoralise the competition. Spurs account for 1 of our 2 league defeats this season, so we need to put that one right as well. Liverpool play Norwich before us, so it's more than likely the gap will be down to 6 points, so expect that narrative from Sky.

Expect the Harry Kane angle to crop up again.

Hopefully seeing off Sporting early tonight means our lads will be well rested for this.

Absentee's v Sporting
Jack Grealish
Gabriel Jesus
Cole Palmer

Kyle Walker is obviously not suspended for this one.

Hate playing spurs my brother supports them and at times it feels as though we are cursed against them. Really hope we beat them but I think it will be a draw with us missing plenty of chances and son scoring for them.

I think you'll find that in the last ten years we've not merely beaten them but smashed them more often than not.

Judging by the pre match stats in the opening post we have beaten them once in our last 5 meetings in the league and are still yet to win or draw at their new ground.

We have had unbelievable amounts of bad luck against them in recent years. The cup final last year was a nice win however and went some way to appeasing that champions league defeat.

I think you might need to be a bit more positive about City, it won’t hurt and you may feel abit better..

Pep has some real selection headaches and its a great headache to have. So many players putting in great performances.
I think Mahrez, Foden, Sterling is a given, all 3 are bang on it and Foden seems to have clicked in the false 9 so he needs to get a run going there.
Stones was excellent at right back but I think Walker comes back in, Biggest question is which 2 of Bernardo, De Bruyne and Gundogan play? All 3 deserve the start. I think I'd be tempted to go De Bruyne and Bernardo and save the control of Gundogan for the second half to hopefully close out the game.

Ederson
Walker, Dias, Stones, Cancelo
Rodri
Gundogan, Bernardo
Mahrez, Grealish, Foden

I am glad the front three are in a good scoring rhythm. Son will do his usual, so City might need a few goals.

Actually, wonder if stones went off early cos he’s playing Saturday. Laporte had made a few errors against spurs. Maybe stones Dias Saturday?

Tricky this. They're set up to play to any perceived weakness we have with the counter attack. No excuses though, must win, any dropped points from us before the dippers drop points will see a huge momentum shift.

Ederson
Walker
Dias
Laporte
Zinchenko
Rodri
Gundogan
Bernardo
Mahrez
Sterling
Kdb

Cancelo to sit this one out, we can't afford him giving the ball away in dangerous positions, zinchenko brings that extra security against the counter. Kdb false 9, although it can easily rotate with Bernardo and gundogan. Can't leave out sterling or mahrez right now so foden drops to the bench. Hopefully jesus can make the bench as were light up top.
