Can’t expect many chances with a bank of 5 and then 3. Spurs defended superbly but we tried to break them down. Nothing thick about out performance. Kane bummed us big time.
 
We have a problem carving out clean chances without resorting to rinse/repeat attack patterns(out wide...in swinger over and over). Then we predictably over commit our defenders and especially fullbacks...then we are easy prey for a decent counter attacking side.

This is mainly an issue against good sides but pops up now and again against lesser sides too. We obviously do well in the league overall but against the best bunch of teams in the world who play this way...its painful to watch.
 
Obvious robbery. 5 chances, 4 goals. Kane when he is like this is a cheat code, Son is a game raising ****, our defenders wasn't on it. Walker for all his upside can lose any game at any moment on his own. Yet again we struggle to find an answer in a game like this.

Pep deserves the most criticism. We all know how good he is so no point going on about that. But when you are in a title fight and need points on the board and its not working, and you choose to not throw in the only striker you have that happens to be a 19 year old hungry mean, tall fucker in a game where we crossed ourselves to death, then you are a coward.

Need to get a winning streak going again if we want to shake the scousers off.

Tottenham as per usual will go nowhere and other than beating someone much better than them which is good for their inferioty complex, showed nothing today. They played like this under the portuguese dinosaur as well.

Shit day for football but we'll recover. Hopefully we have Haaland in games like these next year

Our own podcasts and fans were also deluded after the last match where we were also FORTUNATE to not concede in similar ways we did today where warning signs were present.

Combine that with Spurs desperate, at rock bottom AGAIN, Kane with a point to prove and many of their players being slagged off and so did the likelihood of complacency from us come at a higher risk.

And then…voila…there you have it

one of the main hosts on one of our podcast was cockily saying “ oh the title is ours it’s over there’s no chance we lose it “ couple of weeks ago

just hoping off field antics/influences are not contributing to this, seen this so many times with young promising players, he's played off his usual standards for a fair few games now..
