Can’t believe you not got a log fire with all those treesCome and get them lol
Indeed. None about what actually happened yesterday until this morning though. You do realise that all of the news reports I posted above have been updated since they were first broadcast/ published?
There were plenty of news stories yesterday morning about Franklin being on it's way. I was hungover and bed ridden for a few hours and was moaning about the news. It was either Ukraine or weather...
Don’t say that, you’ll get @BimboBob replying with random links he’s found and @BlueHammer85 denying that the news is always about the south.I guess this storm isn't affecting London as it isn't in the news hardly.
We're sat here without power, again! It was only a few weeks ago we lost all our food after a 4 day outage. Getting fed up with it. Fed up with the rising bills to pay for this shit
i dohave one but it is behind the kitchen lolCan’t believe you not got a log fire with all those trees
Power out in kent and sussex still , still high windsI guess this storm isn't affecting London as it isn't in the news hardly.

It was a constant cycle, the ex is still probably running around with a chainsaw which is a frightening thought :-)Then wait two years before you could burn the wood…

So what you’ve done is helpfully linked me to articles from today and let me know you can’t remember whether the weather was mentioned and sought to diminish it by mentioning a potential international crisis.
Thanks Bimbo.
Lol. Good that you trust your hungover haze more than you can actually prove today.Articles from yesterday updated this morning. Weather and Ukraine. The News. Yesterday. Morning.
Not going to change your obviously small mind so I'll leave it there.
Fuck me mate let it go.Lol. Good that you trust your hungover haze more than you can actually prove today.

Or it didn’t. Who knows? I’d trust my own unhungover memory to yours.Fuck me mate let it go.
It happened. On the news. And weather. In the South. On TV. On Sunday morning.
Where are you...Come and get them lol
I can guarantee that when i go for a pint this affy the pub will be full of 'builders' and 'roofers' who've had the day off because of the weather..My sons house is unfit to live in after a giant Poplar sliced through his roof. Water dripping in through light fittings in upstairs rooms. He has had to move in with a friend and is having a terrible time getting anybody from his insurance company out to access the work required.
He had a builder take a look this morning and it is not just a re-roofing required as at least two of the joists will need replacing.
If anybody in the Baguley area knows of a good reliable builder can you pass on the details - PLEASE.

It does seem that whenever a strong wind is likely to impinge upon your ability to have a cockernee walk abaht and say 'wotcha' instead of hello it is framed as a national disaster. As has been said several times already, just put your big coat on. The articles you link are just examples of how that strange breed within the M25 appropriate the misfortune of others - like dippers really. Some weird obsession about London getting more media attention, same was said about Covid until most realised that was a load of bollox aswell.
Anyway here’s the storm that’s not affecting London …
