you’re being unfair here. Can you imagine the work, stress, hours, painful decisions and creative thinking Johnson and his team put into reaching this policy?

I can’t even begin to think where to start finding 3 Russians that haven’t donated to the Tory party but the man’s done it.

Been put on 50mg daily of Sertraline to try and calm me down/sleep after all the stresses of losing business during Covid.

In to my second week of taking it and a few side effects and little improvement yet, but know I need to stick with it.

An anti-depressant but hoping it ticks a few boxes for me.

The first few weeks are always the worst. Stick at it. After a little while, you will suddenly start feeling a bit better. If you are still struggling with the sleep after that time, ask for help again. They may give you some Diazepam or sleepers for 7 days to help with the worst of the effects you are feeling. Diazepam is a wonder drug for anxiety. When I first went on anxiety meds years ago, I was like a crazy man for the first 3 days, pacing up and down and not being able to sit still or concentrate on anything for more than 2 mins. Diazepam calmed me right down and I only needed them for 4 days. After that the worst of the effects were done and bit by bit I was feeling a lot better. That was 6 years ago and I’ve been an insomniac for 12 years and still here. I think the thing to remember is that whilst anxiety and panic attacks are scary, they don’t kill you and you can recover from it albeit with the odd relapse now and again.
 
So far, the Germans are the only ones to show any balls and actually slap them hard enough where they might just about feel it. Sticking 3 of Putins mates and a few banks on the naughty list and threatening to seize assets that we can't even find and by the time we do find them, they'll be long out of reach anyway is hardly the barrage of sanctions it is being claimed to be.
 
Naïve maybe but.... why do we not just totally blank Russia? No flights to or from any European or American destination... possibly down under too?

No banking transactions, no trade, kick all the Billionaires, millionaires and ordinary citizens out seize all their assets freeze all their accounts.

Basically, if you're going to play these games here are the consequences. Give them a week to sort themselves out then its total shut down!

Once again our government is nowhere near the level required.

Sanctions have to be harsh and fast.

Hit the influential Russians hard and they'll soon be knocking on Putin's door asking questions. I suppose it's hard to sanction the people that helped put you there though.

First it was Crimea, now it's Luhansk and Donetsk, won't be long before it's the whole of the Ukraine.

45 million Ukrainians having their freedoms threatened and the government think freezing the assets of 5 relatively unknown banks and banning travel to the UK for 3 Russian billionaires who don't even live here is a good start? It's not even close to scratching the surface.

The only real weapon at the government's disposal is to cut the Russians access to SWIFT> Although they will need the US to go along with it. This will of course hurt us as well as Russia.

The war was not illegal because Iraq broke the terms of the ceasefire that ended the first Gulf war.
