China are not gonna get involved in Russias favour or back them any more than keeping trading links.

China is the Ukraines largest trading partner and Xi sees it as a good one at that, also US attention on russia keeps them from mithering them in the south china seas, while the situation is also a useful tool for china to try and repair ties with america if they look like a voice of reason in Putins ear.

Putin is a headcase all on his own.

There is no sino-russsian conspiracy to get the west with this invasion

As I have said, the position comes down to this. There was a war that was authorised by the UN. A ceasefire was agreed on terms which were then breached.

There was no second UN resolution. That doesn’t make the war illegal.

You think a war fought to disarm a country of weapons that it didn’t possess is legal. Who needs a false flag to justify war when you can just hold up a small vial filled with saline solution? You must be amongst the last of the most hopelessly gullible to hold this view.

The main reason they weren’t pulled on it is because they have a veto vote. The countries that can create the rules and then flout them.

I quoted legal experts in their field, you quoted nobody, yet you think you know better than those legal experts? and I need to think about it? Erm, ok, as you were professor.

Not sure the UN saw things the same way tbh. If you add the Iraq shenanigans to our tenuous custodianship of Gibraltar, the Falklands etc I suppose our moral high ground isn't particularly high.

Exactly, it’s no different to the bullshit the Putin came out with about the “rebels” who are clearly Russian troops.

I laughed at the time and wondered if Putin did it on purpose because of the WMD’s nobody believed either.
