I get the issues with how Biden said some of it, what he said wasn’t particularly bad though. The sanctions that both the US and the UK have implemented are a lot more punishing than anyone else yet.

The problem is these days is the more desperate we make the situation for Russia in the end, the more likely the nutter is going to press the red button.

A new Europe wide war, which will be a new World War if the Chinese enter, will be the end of humanity as we know it, as no side can possibly lose.

The only thing I think we can do is make the situation bad for the Russian state, enough so they stop but leave the door open for negotiations.

This balancing act is going to be incredibly hard to get right.

Putin has done something here that is incredibly dangerous for the whole world and to suggest he’s overstepped the mark is a colossal understatement.
