Actually what he's saying is true. The orange one didn't try to disband NATO, but rather insisted that all NATO members kept up their commitment to whatever % of GDP they were meant to commit to NATO/defence budgets. I think even the UK was guilty of counting pay/pensions of military personnel in this figure which was not really the spending agreement.

Your point was that Ukraine have a democratically elected leader and Iraq didn’t? Right? And therefore it was ok for regime change using war in Iraq, but not ok for regime change using war in Ukraine? That’s what you’re saying?

and because I asked you if it was ok for regime change against a monarch, I’ve lost an argument? An argument about what exactly?
 
With all the footage around i just wanted to note the poor chap whose car got run over by a Russian tank is amazingly ok. There is footage of people helping him get out of the wreck. He seemed to be uninjured, or at least any injuries, physically, are superficial.

Can you image the insurance claim.. "well I was driving along and this tank came out of nowhere.."

Whilst I agree in principle, I'd say a couple of things:

1. Paid for how exactly? and
2. The west as a whole has fallen SO far behind Russia in terms of conventional (i.e. non-nuclear) forces, it is beyond a joke. It would take vastly more than simply topping up our forces a bit - it would take years and years of huge spending increases to get anywhere close, in so doing, crippling our economies. I mean, just look at this. The UK (with 227) doesn't even get on the list. France and Germany are not much better and not on the list either.

How on earth do we threaten Russia when we have 227 tanks?
