Jesus that was a grapple. Controlled the second half without creating loads. Everton had a bash in the first half but seemed to be content with that and go into a defensive shell in the second.

Everton wanted a point. They are hovering on the relegation zone. They weren't going to roll over were they. 2nd half city just kept attacking and eventually we got the goal we deserved even if it was an everton error.

It was offside that stopped the play hence why it restarted with a free kick. The prem league have said they didn’t give it as they believe it hit further up his arm.

Oh well we were bloody lucky as it was very tight re the arm

The club should seriously ask why Eddie gets booked so often for time wasting yet nothing is done about the far more excessive time wasting by the opposition. First half it was embarrassing how long they were taking over goal and free kicks and yet as usual fuck all done by the ref and a laughably pathetic 2 mins added on. Of course it was 0-0 then.

2nd half it continued right up to the 82 minute when we scored, nothing.
Yet first chance he gets he ignores the previous 82 minutes of inaction on his part and books Eddy for taking his time for the first time.

Happens so often with us, we should be asking why.
Then 5 mins added on for nothing as we were winning of course

I always say that if the goalkeeper continually kicked the ball away to waste time, they’d be booked on the second time they did it - if not first.

Yet time waste over goal kicks and free kicks and they get away with it a dozen times and then refs only book them after 85mins.

A lot of people think we should just steamroller team by right,any difficulty can only be down to us playing shit, nothing to do with the opposition coach setting his team up well and the opposition playing well.
