As I said it’s only “selected” or “certain” russian banks. It definitely begs the serious question why not ALL russian banks
Because they’re still selling oil and gas to the west.

For now. People in Russia(or wherever the fuck they are)will feel the pinch. Gonna be a lot of infightingThe NATO countries are propped up with Russian money. They will put enough sanctions to appease the public’s unrest but not enough to actually harm their own countries or cripple Russia. Political balancing act. It’s a grey murky area and as such the decisions will generally reflect this. Only Putin deals in absolutes.
I've probably got about 30 seconds of windmilling left in me. Other than that I'm prepared to hold coats.
So why are the British Army developing the Challenger 3 with General Dynamics? BBC article 9 months ago claims the army is buying 148 of them at around £5.5M each. - Also early reports (late 2021) said performance is nowhere near good enough.Upgrades to some of the armour and its weapons and sighting systems aside, the MBT is coming to its natural end and hand held weapons systems like Javelin and the NLAW along with systems like Apache and of course, natural enemies counterparts mean that these things are now almost sitting ducks and coffins on tracks.
Remember when Trump threatened arms and economic restrictions to the Ukranian president, unless they dug up lies on Hunter Biden... and got told to do one. The effect of which was to weaken Ukraine, defensively, politically and economically.I’m so jealous they have people like this as politicians.
I want Zelenskyy to be our leader.Remember when Trump threatened arms and economic restrictions to the Ukranian president, unless they dug up lies on Hunter Biden... and got told to do one. The effect of which was to weaken Ukraine, defensively, politically and economically.
Now it would be rather naive to assume that that was nothing to do with Trump acting in his own interests AND also for his bestie.
You could easily trace the roots of this invasion, the deaths and destruction to Trump's (and his klan's) behaviour and the continuous kowtowing to their russian master.
Oh.. and the President of Ukraine at the time, the same one as now, the incredible Zelenskyy
I’m so jealous they have people like this as politicians.
He'd be the first to leg itIf we ever go invaded would expect rees mogg to fend them off with a witty riposte and quote from keates.
That would show em
I’d expect most Tories to flee to the Cayman Islands, Starmer to get caught up in legalities of it all without actually saying anything and for Corbyn to join the invaders. If we ever go invaded would expect rees mogg to fend them off with a witty riposte and quote from keates.

The weapons they have are horrificThe army General that Sky News have in the studio is fantastic. His insight into weaponry and Russian tactics is refreshing.

Indeed. Prior to Brexit, the rich tories that were in favour of it (including aforesaid moggy), showed that they were really backing post-brexit Britain by offshoring their money.I’d expect most Tories to flee to the Cayman Islands, Starmer to get caught up in legalities of it all without actually saying anything and for Corbyn to join the invaders.

It’s Day 2,929.Good old BBC radio "Day 4"of the Ukrainian invasion! Whilst factually correct - it's not the fcking Olympics.
Germany alone gets 55% of its gas from Russia. 44billion cubic meters last year at $1800 per 1000m3. That means they are buying over $200,000,000 of gas a day from Russia. As I understand it there isn't the infrastructure yet to import the required LPG in ships to replace this gas, and there are no pipelines from the middle east. It takes time to build terminals and build infrastructure I don't see how this can be done in a few days, months if not years are much more likely.
Can/will the dockers refuse to load it? Sometimes people have to make a collective decision. Don't refuel it, don't let it restock with supplies. Perhaps we need to stop relying on politicians and do somethings ourselves.Their only friends appear to be in our cabinet

Feel sorry for Clive, one minute he's on Mastermind next they've shipped him to Ukraine.Just watched that. Superb.
not sure how anyone can knock the coverage both Sky and BBC have done during this conflict- some incredibly brave journalists
