So why are the British Army developing the Challenger 3 with General Dynamics? BBC article 9 months ago claims the army is buying 148 of them at around £5.5M each. - Also early reports (late 2021) said performance is nowhere near good enough.

Remember when Trump threatened arms and economic restrictions to the Ukranian president, unless they dug up lies on Hunter Biden... and got told to do one. The effect of which was to weaken Ukraine, defensively, politically and economically.

Now it would be rather naive to assume that that was nothing to do with Trump acting in his own interests AND also for his bestie.

You could easily trace the roots of this invasion, the deaths and destruction to Trump's (and his klan's) behaviour and the continuous kowtowing to their russian master.

Oh.. and the President of Ukraine at the time, the same one as now, the incredible Zelenskyy - probably the 1st and only president to stand up to 2 different nacsistic fascist dictators

I’d expect most Tories to flee to the Cayman Islands, Starmer to get caught up in legalities of it all without actually saying anything and for Corbyn to join the invaders.

Indeed. Prior to Brexit, the rich tories that were in favour of it (including aforesaid moggy), showed that they were really backing post-brexit Britain by offshoring their money.

Infrastructure will be the main issue. Transitioning from Russian gas will take time. Nordstream 1 took 6 years to build.

Can/will the dockers refuse to load it? Sometimes people have to make a collective decision. Don't refuel it, don't let it restock with supplies. Perhaps we need to stop relying on politicians and do somethings ourselves.
