And as I said in my edit, his argument for taking back Ukraine is founded upon telling the Russians that Ukraine's natural home is Russia and that they are all Russians really. So killing millions of them, probably isn't a good look.
 
If tactical nukes are launched on Ukraine, how can it be portrayed as a peace keeping mission as was the original excuse to invade? Surely even RT news would struggle to twist that propaganda?
 
Re those EU speeches what's the point of the second guy. He seems to say the same thing as the main woman but at half the speed and with double the words!
 
As troops are coming from the Belarus border as well as missiles now coming from there, could Ukraine launch their own attack on Belarus?

I cannot see the west launching a nuclear strike on Russia under any circumstances, least of all in retaliation for a Russian strike on a non-Nato country. There is no way we would bring about "the end of the world" simply because he had nuked Ukraine. And he almost certainly knows this.

Perhaps a more comforting argment is that the "Re-uniting Ukraine with their natural homeland... BY KILLING THEM ALL" is not an easy sell to the Russian population.

Agree with all this and the argument about having this deterrent has been discussed before. I wonder if Ukraine wish they had one.

The amount of shite put upon this world because of men and their egos and/or their self interest.

In a now-deleted tweet, immigration minister Kevin Foster says Ukrainians could qualify for the seasonal worker scheme - where people can come to the UK for up to six months to work in jobs such as fruit picking - or apply for a family visa if they already have a relative in Britain.

This fella Foster is clearly not up to the job and needs sacking. But we know that won't happen sadly.
 
Our neighbour was in Ukraine a few months back, he said they were readying for a Russian invasion even then, by removing the concrete motorway bridges and replacing them with wooden ones so that tanks couldn't cross them.
