Russian invasion of Ukraine

A chap who knows how the Russian government work was on the radio a while ago. He was asked about Putin being removed from within, he was of the consensus that Putin removed all liberals and brought people in who rule with iron fists and believe in his ideology and thus unlikely.

But you have - you dominate every thread in the forum with it - why not keep it in the specific threads to do with the torys and Johnson?

Forgive some posters on here for thinking that the events in Ukraine at this time deserve some focus and would prefer not to have to wade through your obsession-driven distractions

This - at this time - I would suggest, is more important to people that visit this thread than your personal campaign

Doesn't always work though. Even if you share the same ideals, the desire to be the one in charge can be strong. Someone always thinks they can do it better than you and if they see any weakness in you then you are vulnerable
 
The Russians have now apparently blamed the words of Liz Truss for issuing the heightened state of nuclear readiness.
I am not in any way trying to politicise but If this is indeed true then surely there’s an opportunity to de-escalate?

He posted that about 50 pages ago and you have to try to get the argument going whilst lunging for the moral high ground.
